The Sincerest Love
George Bernard Shaw once said, “There is no sincerer love
than the love of food”, well a gourmet like me who worships food couldn’t agree
more to it. I fell in love with good food since I was a kid, thanks to my mother;
there is surely some magic in her fingers. The memories of my school days are
as vivid as it happened yesterday, my mother made sure I didn’t take my
Lunchbox in morning instead she brought it herself during the lunch hour. The school wasn’t far from my home but still
when I think about it, I can’t deny that I troubled her a lot. Things changed
in due course of time, I had grown up and the classes were shortened so I used
to have my lunch at home itself.
After the schooling got over it was time to get into a
college. New friends, new enemies, an alien environment, and no home cooked
food. The sooner I get adjusted the better it would be for me, but you can’t control
everything that happens in your life. Initially I missed my family immensely
and not to mention the food, I remember running home from Ranchi to Jamshedpur
every weekend. The first mess I joined called itself “Tasty Mess” the name
justified in the beginning but later became an irony. In my three years of
graduation I changed a lot of mess, I had no option rather you might say I had
plenty.
Our body is a temple; the food is the sacred offering. Let us
give a thought about what we eat today so as to have a healthy today and
tomorrow. Nothing makes a day better than having good food on one’s plate. The
food which we eat directly affects our mood. The best way to learn is to learn
from others mistakes. Give us an
opportunity to satisfy your cravings and we would make sure your life doesn’t
become a mess.
